What else do the stars of the hit MTV show have in common besides on-going feuds with Lauren Conrad? Apparenty, similar fashion tastes. Both stars have worn the Herve Leger Strapless Cutout Dress, available through BCBG Max Azria for $760. Kristin Cavallari first stepped out in the number to attend a Wizard of Oz event at the FIDM in Los Angeles. A week later, Heidi Montag wore an identical bandage dress to dinner in NYC.

To save a little money this summer, Jessica McClintock has a similar version for under 100 bucks at Dillard’s.

So who wore it better? Well this was a hard call, given that they are both blonde and tan (bet hey, who isn’t in Cali?). Jordin Sparks wore this gorgeous evening gown at an event in California, and we’ve been dying to steal her look ever since! Her beautiful BCBG Ombré Silk Gown is floaty and feminine (two things we love!) and we applaud the way it complements her dark hair and skin. This singer definitely wins our vote in this flirty, colorful piece. Her formal attire cost her close to $500, so we did a little bargain hunting. We thought it’d be more practical to find a similar dress, but not as fancy. This Blue Hued Maxi from DEB is the perfect fit! The colors are right on, and can’t you picture yourself wearing it to concerts and on weekend getaways? We can! And the best part, is that we get to drop a zero off the price – this dress will only cost you $50!

Camilla Belle in Green BCBG Max Azria Ruffle Dress

Camilla Belle looked radient in a kelly green BCBG Max Azria dress from the Fall 2009 collection. The actress was in New York attending the Whitney Contemporaries Art Party. Her dress is not yet available in stores, but BCBG has a similar one from the Spring 2009 collection. Their strapless sidedrape dress runs around $298.
