Isn’t it great when celebrities wear brands the rest of us can afford?! It makes our lives so much easier! Kristin Cavallari was seen in LA wearing a short and sweet dress from American Apparel, and we’re dying to steal her look. She paired her Sleeveless Tri-Blend Pleated Pocket Dress with black Ray Ban Wayfarers and an Alexander Wang Coco Duffel Bag. Her bag and shades may be pricey, but her dress it only $38! It’s hard to find something cheaper than that, but if you want another option, Old Navy has a similar Linen-Blend Shift Dress for $25. Throw on a skinny belt, some summer sandals and some cheap wayfarer sunglasses for a simple and sophisticated look.

Kristin Cavallari in Mini Denim Skirt

Kristin Cavallari was seen in West Hollywood looking like a million bucks in this denim skirt/ruffle blouse combo and trendy accessories! We love her shiny clutch and peep-toe heels, and where did she find that adorable denim skirt? Her mini is the Charley 5.0 Skinny Mini Skirt in Indigo. We’re crazy about it because it’s different than traditional jean skirts. It’s a little longer and a little tighter, but fits this TV star like a glove. If you want to grab it for yourself, it’ll cost you $119. Or, American Apparel has this Stretch Bull Denim High-Waist Slim Skirt for only $54. The dark denim and snug fit make for a perfect alternative at a lower cost!

Kristin Cavallari With Birdy Clutch

SPL107493_073Kristin Cavallari poses for the camera at ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen‘ premiere in this hot pink dress and silver heels. She paired her hot ensemble with this unique peacock clutch. Her small bag is the perfect accessory for this sizzling celeb. Her bag of choice, the Birdy Clutch from Chlorine, cost her $600. If you want feathers at a lower cost, check out this Peacock Feather Luxury Clutch for only $38. Forever 21 also has some peacock design wallets that we love. (We’re also crazy about their peacock feather headbands and hair clips - so cute!)

Battle of the Hills Stars

What else do the stars of the hit MTV show have in common besides on-going feuds with Lauren Conrad?  Apparenty, similar fashion tastes.  Both stars have worn the Herve Leger Strapless Cutout Dress, available through BCBG Max Azria for $760.  Kristin Cavallari first stepped out in the number to attend a Wizard of Oz event at the FIDM in Los Angeles.  A week later, Heidi Montag wore an identical bandage dress to dinner in NYC.

To save a little money this summer, Jessica McClintock has a similar version for under 100 bucks at Dillard’s.

So who wore it better?  Well this was a hard call, given that they are both blonde and tan (bet hey, who isn’t in Cali?).  We’ll give Round 1 to Heidi for her chic oversized python clutch and matching pumps.  Let us know who you think should have been crowned the Queen of the (fashion) Hill…stay tuned for Round 2.

The perfect way to incorporate playfulness into a simple, sophisticated dress is by doing it in a vibrant neon hue.  New Hills star Kristin Cavallari wore a hot pink assymetrical Zac Posen number to the premiere of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in Los Angeles.  Her frock will run you close to $1300.  Looking to snag K-Cav’s style for less?  Forever 21 offers tons of great dresses for under 20 bucks.  We like the Delilah One Shoulder Dress for that perfect shade of hot pink that’s sure to brighten up any room.

Kristin Cavallari wore a breezy red peasant top by Sunahara to the “A Time For Heroes” celebrity carnival in California.  A colorful peasant top is an easy way to get the boho chic look.  If you can afford to splurge, Cavallari’s top is $115 from Madison Los Angeles.  For a more affordable style, Target is a great place to look for fun and inexpensive tops.  Their new collection by Tracy Feith has that flirty, laid back California feel.  Try the line’s red embroidered top for a look close to Cavallari’s for just $25.
