How much is our First Lady Spending?!!
As a blogger of celebrity fashion, I know firsthand how hard it is to identify what celebrities are wearing. What brand is that? How much does it cost? Where can you find it? These questions are not always easy to answer! Well, I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who struggles!
Noted last week on NYDailyNews.com, First Lady Michelle Obama was recently spotted in Russia with what VBH–an Italian luxury goods company–claimed to be their $5,950 crocodile envelope clutch. (You would think they’d know - it’s their own bag!) BUT, according to White House officials, the bag is in fact VBH’s patent leather clutch, which costs only $875. After putting up a fight, VBH reps had a “change of heart,” if you will. They now claim the White House is correct in saying the bag could not possibly be the nearly $6,000 version. More agitated individuals of the company continue to claim “patent leather does not have scales,” after zooming in on Michelle’s designer clutch.
